James L. Kimbler, Sr.

James L. Kimbler, Sr., 81 of Terre Haute, passed away at 4:02 PM on December 31, 2019 at Union Hospital.  He was born in Terre Haute on August 22, 1938 to Clarence Kimbler, Sr. and Ruth Sullivan Kimbler.

James was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for Morris Roofing.

James is survived by his children; James Kimbler, Jr, (Loetta)Cindy Stansbury (Bryan), Brian Donna (Libby), Paul Donna (Toni), David Donna (Beth).  Also surviving is his sister, Mary Cox, sister-in-law, Marilyn Kimbler, as well as several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his siblings; Clarence Kimbler, Jr., Jack Kimbler, Tressie Fields, Helen Ferrando, Louise Warner, and Tommy Kimbler.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen with burial of ashes to take place at Pleasant View Cemetery, with Pastor Janice Smith officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN.
