James Buddy “Jim” Stultz, 88, of Danville, Indiana, passed away on October 5, 2024 in his home surrounded by family. He was born November 8, 1935 in West Terre Haute, Indiana, to James Perry Stultz and May Marie Morris Stultz. Jim was a United States Army veteran. Jim was a truck driver. Jim worked for Gibson trucking, B&G, and Russell Daum trucking, and retired from Macy trucking in 2001. He worked for Pro X excavating for a year and a half between Russell Daum and Macy trucking. Jim fully retired from working in 2015.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Carolyn J. Elkins Stultz, infant son, James B Stultz, daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Stultz, brother Gene Stultz (Elinor), sisters; Mae Fuller (Norm), and Renny Stultz, a grandson, Derek Ellis, and a brother in law, David Jeffrey.
He is survived by son, Michael Stultz (Trina), daughters; Donna Kalb (Allen), Connie Lehr (Mike), and Karen Robertson (Rick), a sister, Liz Jeffery, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, also surviving are friends; Larry Ebert, Charlie Collier, and Bob Daum and many more.
Funeral services for Jim will be Thursday, October 10, 2024 in Fitzpatrick funeral home, 220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, 47885, at 1 PM. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time on Thursday. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, with military rites by the Vigo County Honor Guard.
