Jackie Lee Yowell

Jackie Lee Yowell, 76 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2018 in his residence.  He was born in Clinton, IN on April 24, 1942 to Chester Yowell and Grace Marie Johnson Yowell.

Jackie was a veteran of both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Navy.  He was a retired truck driver with Brazil Trucking.

Jackie is survived by four children;  Bart Yowell, Barbara Bendzsa, Angela Yowell, and Jackie Yowell, Jr.  Also surviving are three grandchildren;  Ryan Yowell, Seaaria Bendzsa, and P.J. Bendzsa.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the love of his life, Bonnie Foster Yowell, and a son, Bryon Yowell.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor John Lawson officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Clay City.  Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
