Harry Edward Hendricks

Harry Edward Hendricks, 88 of Terre Haute and formerly of West Terre Haute, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 8:40 PM on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  He was born in West Terre Haute on January 12, 1931 to Homer David Hendricks and Cecile Sevilla Arthur Hendricks.

Harry worked at Stran Steel maintaining heavy equipment and was a member of River of Life Church in West Terre Haute.

Harry is survived by his wife Sylvia Hendricks and his son Dan Hendricks.  Also surviving are three nieces; Judy Jones, Barbara Jo Custode (Frank), and Penny Hunt (Jeff), a sister-in-law, Mary Hendricks, as well as step-children and step-grandchildren, and several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anna Louise Hendricks in 2001 as well as several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Robert Maskell officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Memorial Park.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
