Gerald D Waldon

Gerald D. "Moose" Waldon, 75, of West Terre Haute passed away at 12:27 p.m. Monday July 31, 2017 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He retired as a chemical operator from Eli Lilly after many years of service. He was born February 5, 1942 at Terre Haute to Marion B. Waldon and Myrta Elizabeth Stark Waldon. Survivors include: His Wife of fifty four years, Violet Ann Jeffers Waldon; two sons Gerald Waldon and his companion Georgetta Favre and Gary Waldon all of West Terre Haute; a daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and James Conley of West Terre Haute; two sisters Pat Wolf and her husband Lee and Nellie Mae Owens; two grandchildren James Edward Conley III and Katelan Ann Conley; and special friends Michael and Cheryl Webster. He was preceded in death by a grandson Kaleb Waldon Conley; his parents; five brothers Seth, Clarence, Leonard, Roy, and Jim; and three sisters Norma, Mary, and Carolyn. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting mushrooms and he loved spending time with his family. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Roush officiating. Burial will be in Barnhart Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday.
