Frances Irene Joseph

Frances Irene Joseph, 87 of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 in Providence Healthcare. She was born in East Chicago, IN on August 12, 1938 to Frederick E. Flagg and Bernice Hogenson Flagg.

Frances retired from Smith-Alsops Paints Company (MAB Paints) in the Accounts Payable Department after 28 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, loved the Chicago Cubs and watching sports of all kinds.

Frances is survived by three children; Beth Key (Steve), Janet Chandler (Scott), and John Joseph III (Judie). She is also survived by a sister, Jennie Crowder, son-in-law Dan Mills, 14 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Anthony Joseph, Jr., and a daughter, Karen Mills.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral Home.
