Fay Etta (Robertson) Day

Fay Etta Day, 99 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 5:00 AM at Signature Healthcare.  She was born in West Terre Haute on July 24, 1918 to Phillip R. Robertson and Minnie E. Davison Robertson.

Fay was a housewife and was a lifetime member of the 8th Street Wesleyan Church of West Terre Haute.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Lawrence Day who passed away on November 24, 1998.

Fay is survived by her son, John Day (& wife Dianna), and her daughter, Anita Burton (& husband Sherman).  Also surviving are six grandchildren;  Holly Day, Amy Ames (& husband Curtis), Heidi Gresham (& husband Chris), Amber Young (& husband Mike), Matthew Burton (& wife Lindsey), and Sean Burton (& wife Alisha).  Fay is also survived by her great grandchildren;  Tyler Owens, Kendra Brown (& husband Sean), Jordan Ames, Noah Day, Avery Ames, Georgia Fay Carlson, Alexander Young, Jayce Young, Riley Burton, Reagan Burton, Leeland Burton, Loghan Burton, and Lilly Burton.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11:30 AM, with Pastor David Ward officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Saturday from 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM at the funeral home.  The family of Fay would like to thank Providence Rehabilitation Center, Great Lakes Hospice, and Signature Helathcare for the loving and compassionate care shown to Fay while under their care.
