Evelyn Mae Jarvis

Evelyn Mae Jarvis, 64 of Terre Haute & formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 in Union Hospital. She was born in Terre Haute on June 3, 1961 to Donald Childers and Georgia Wolfe Childers.

Evelyn was a member of Dresser Church and loved being with her family.

Evelyn is survived by her son Patrick Jarvis (Catina), her sister Donna Rose Hyde, and her brother Donnie Ray Childers. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jacob Jarvis, Cody Gilbert, Isaac Jarvis, Christian Jarvis, Nash Hart, Rusty Hart, Corey Hart, Austin Hart and Courtney Rice. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Jarvis, her son Daniel Jarvis, and her grandson Dakota Hart.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM, with burial to follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 12 Noon – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.
