To those that knew Emma “Lou” knew she truly loved her family and especially the grandchildren. She loved to play cards, especially Euchre and beat brother in-law Don. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and teaching grandchildren how to find them. Emma was a good baker, made good pies and Christmas candy. She also loved to crochet. Many of us still treasure and hang the Christmas stockings she made for us years ago. At this time of year, she was always busy making sure everyone’s stocking was filled to the top. So much fun finding the surprises. She loved the birds and squirrels, watched them from her window at the nursing home. She also loved to teach her grandchildren the DICE game. She loved her fried chicken and fish, especially from McDonald’s.
Emma was a devoted wife. She was loved and will be truly missed, but is now at peace and reunited with her husband Paul.
