Donald Raymond Edington Jr., 60 of West Terre Haute, passed away on October 30th, 2025. He was born on October 17th, 1965, to Donald Raymond Edington Sr. and Linda (Sewell) Edington.
Donald served his country in the U.S. Army for 4 years, stationed at Fort Lewis where he eventually met his wife, Deborah Edington of 16 years. After his time in the military Donald would come home to work as a mechanic at Elliot and Sons. He would help anyone in need, whether helping people with their cars or mowing their yards, Donald was always helping others. He loved to mushroom hunt but never wanted anyone to know where he was going and riding 4-wheelers with his son.
Donald is survived by his children, Jeremy Ryan Edington (Elizabeth) and Ashley Inman (Matthew Gates); their mother Deborah Edington and Donalds mother Linda Edington; sister Kathy Clater (David); brothers Kenneth Benjamin Edington (Tammy), Dan Albert Edington (Jennifer), and Randall Wade Edington (Laura); aunt Paula Bartosh; uncles Winston Sewell and Sooner McDaniel; grandchildren Brooklynn Inman, Hayley Inman, Gunnar Inman, Winston Inman, Brexden Gates, Bryler Gates, Emma Edington, and Leah Edington; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donald is proceeded in death by his father, Donald Raymond Edington Sr.
In lieu of flowers: the family asks that donations be made to the Bob Woodruff Foundation.
Visitation will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 N. 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN 47885, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, from 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm. Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, with Pastor Larry Snyder officiating, at Rosehill Cemetery, 7582–7766 N Holdaway Pl. West Terre Haute, IN 47885, following visitation in the funeral home.
