Dennis Wayne Heyen

Dennis Wayne Heyen, 64, and formerly of West Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 in Owen Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.  He was born in Vigo County on August 31, 1958 to Earl Heyen and Patricia Wilson Heyen.

Denny was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two brothers, Stepehen Heyen and Ricky Heyen.

Denny lived in a group home in Bloomington and had many friends as well as a pet cat.  He was very close to his uncle Ronnie and aunt Maria Heyen.  He would call them four or five times a week.  He and Ronnie would talk about sports and would want to know when they were taking him shopping at Walmart, which they did every month.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation with burial of ashes will be at Dunlap Cemetery.  Arrangements were entrusted to Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
