David Lee McMillen, 69 of Terre Haute, passed away on November 25th, 2025. He was born on August 17th, 1956, to Virgil McMillen and Martha (Church) McMillen.

David served his country for 2 years in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Knox in Kentucky. He was a romantic and great husband to his wife Nelda. David loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. He was a great storyteller, always having a story to tell even if he had already told you the same story three times.

He is survived by his sons, David McMillen (Michelle) and Fred McMillen (Kelly); grandchildren, Cody McMillen, Shelby McMillen, Victoria McMillen, and Andrew McMillen; a close cousin, Kathy Church; as well as many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

David is proceeded in death by his wife Nelda L. McMillen; parents, Virgil McMillen and Martha McMillen; as well as a brother, Harold Fritz.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, at Bethesda Memorial Park. Services will begin at 11:00 with Pastor Larry Snyder officiating. Visitation will also be held at the cemetery from 10:30 until the beginning of the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home.
