Cindy L Cooper

Cindy L. Cooper, 68, passed away peacefully in Signature Healthcare Nursing Facility, under the care of Southern Care Hospice on June 2, 2025, at 10:30 am. Cindy was born to Mary F. Woods and William "Bill" Bridgewater on March 4, 1957, in Terre Haute, Indiana. Cindy was raised by her grandmother Gertrude Walker. Growing up and until death Cindy was inseparable from her Aunt Kathy Lamb; they were almost like twins. She loved music, writing music and singing karaoke. She could sing so beautifully, she also liked writing letters to her family and friends, poems, and journals. She could fill a notebook in 20 minutes. She expressed herself best in words. She could also craft anything; baby showers, birthdays holidays etc. came around and she would go all out. And can't forget Indian bead hunting, or painting rocks with her grandkids. She loved playing bingo Lottery she loves snacks junk food and of course her Coca-Cola. Over the years God threw many challenges at her medically and she overcame each one. She was the strongest woman some of us knew. Cindy had just found out she had a biological father whose name was John Robert Beasley. She wanted to be remembered as just that Cindy L Beasley. Cindy was preceded in death by many including her daughter, Donna L Green, her grandson William Reed, her parents, her sister Vick, her brother's Tom and Billy Gene, and ex-husband Russ Green. Cindy was a proud mother to Donna Green, Cynthia(Cindy Jo) Green, Danielle King, and Tyler King. She had 13 grandkids Jason, Taylor , Bobby, Will, Shelby, Maddyson, Myah, Trint, Paige, Brandon, Madden, Skyler, & Tori, and 17 great grandkids. Cindy "King, Green, Cooper" will be greatly missed. Services for Cindy will be Monday, June 9, 2025 at 1 pm in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home. Visitation will be 12 noon until service time at the funeral home on Monday. Burial will be Barnhardt Cemetery.
