Charles W. "Chuck" Parsons

Charles W. “Chuck” Parsons, 66 of West Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 in his residence.  He was born in Terre Haute on February 23, 1957 to Paul Owen Parsons and Norma J. Collins Parsons.

Chuck was a truck driver with the Vigo County Highway Department, did asphalt work, and was a self-employed carpenter and mechanic.  He was a jack-of-all trades.  He loved singing karaoke, working in his yard and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and foster kids.

Chuck is survived by his wife Kathy Padgett Parsons and their children; Charles “Chuckie” Parsons, Jr. (Nicole), Curt Parsons (Tora), Heather Gilbert (Frank), Kelsy Parsons, and Alexis Reed, and two adopted children, William Singer and Missy Singer. Also surviving is a brother, Robert Parsons, and his grandchildren; Skyler Parsons, Conner Parsons, Paul Curtis Parsons, Jr., Amariah Parsons, Penny Parsons, Charlie Parsons, Frank Gilbert, Nathan Gilbert, Ethan Gilbert, Aleigha Johnson, Olivea Burke, Joselynn Burke, Sammy Parsons, and Julie Brock, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Chuck will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Monday, July 3rd, 2023 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been chosen.
