Carson O. Rowe

Carson O. Rowe, 84 of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 in The Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.  He was born in Vigo County on October 29, 1936 to Hershel Rowe and Essie Winn Rowe,

Carson worked in the Maintenance Department at Chesty Foods and was a member of the Teamsters Local # 135.

Carson is survived by five children; Melody S. Jones, Linda L. Rogers, Michael L. Rowe, Carson Randy Rowe, and Jonathan Scott Rowe., as well as a brother, Allen Rowe.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine South Rowe--who passed away on August 2, 2008, two children; David W. Rowe and Debbie Whitt, and by his siblings; Sandra Lou Rowe, Madonna Enyert, Florence Mae Alexander, Myrtle Welch, Harold Rowe, Cary Rowe, Hershel Rowe, Jr., Eugene Rowe, and Charlie Rowe.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 4, 2020 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM in the funeral home.
