Carolyn Sue Atkinson

Carolyn Sue Atkinson, 66 of Terre Haute, passed away at 9:35 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in her residence.  She was born in Terre Haute on February 5, 1954 to Roy Atkinson and Joan Atkinson.

Carolyn was a member of New Life Fellowship Church and loved to go antique shopping.

Carolyn is survived by her son Michael Roy Walters (wife Bridgett), and three grandchildren; Michael Walters, Brylea Walters, and Mason Walters.  She is also survived by two sisters, Debbie Hoke (husband Craig), and Ruthie Fagg (husband Eugene), as well as her brother, Jay Atkinson.  In addition, she is also survived by her life-long best friend Sally Sanders and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as two daughters, Cherish and Shannon.

Graveside services will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Jeffrey Harpole officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre haute, IN.
