Antonio "Tonio" Rachid Owens

Antonio “Tonio” Rachid Owens, 38 of Terre Haute, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 18, 1987.

Antonio loved fishing and all types of animals in general.

Antonio is survived by his mother and father, Raquel Johnson Cornes and Brian Cornes, Sr., as well as his four children; Xzadrien Owens, An’Tanaya Owens, An’Ciounna Owens, and An’Tanesha Owens. He is also survived by his siblings; Tara Johnson, Tiara Wilcox, Brian Cornes, Jr., Brianna Cornes, Brelyn Cornes, Bryson Cornes, Chynna Owens, Darian Owens, and Brandon Cornes, his grandparents, Helen and Johnnie Johnson, and a host of other family members. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Joyce Owens and a niece, Tamiya O’Quinn.

Private Funeral services and visitation will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, with cremation to follow services.
