Anna Ruth, 92, of West Terre Haute, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 in Providence Healthcare surrounded by her family.  She was born in Terre Haute to Fredia (Roth) & William Coveleskie.  She married James “Bob” Lydick on July 13, 1946 .

Ruby, as she was lovingly called, is survived by her four children, Bill (Claudia) Lydick, James (Elizabeth) Lydick, Linda Turner and Jack (Cindy) Lydick; eight grandchildren, Joe Lydick (Pam Walker), Mark Turner (Gloria Savant), Scott (Sarah) Lydick, Mandee Turner (Jason Callahan), Jenna Lydick (Chris Berger), Amber (Dave) Thompson, Trey Lydick (Kendra Wingerter), and Abe (Kayla) Lydick; two step-grandchildren, Mike Ellis and Julie (Keith) Findley; an ex-granddaughter-in-law, Tammi; six great grandchildren, Cole Lydick (Makayla Riley), Jacob Turner, Emily Turner, Maddy Callahan, Slade Lydick and Affton Thompson; four step-great grandchildren, Trey Ellis, Amber Ellis, Doug (Katie) Findley and Grace (Justin) Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob, in 2003, son-in-law, Jack Turner and granddaughter-in-law, Mikki Lydick.

She had worked for many years in Voter Registration at the court house.  She had also been a lifetime member of the American Legion, serving as historian and secretary. She was also a lifetime member of the VFW and the Young Men’s Club.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN at 11:00 AM with Father Bernie LaMontagne officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday , June 27,  2018 from 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution be made to Helping Hands or Providence Food Pantry. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Staff at Providence Health Care Center, Union Hospital, and Cannon Inn—thank you for your excellent care and consideration these past few months.
