Allen Wayne Benjamin

Allen Wayne Benjamin, 69 of Terre Haute, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 in his residence.  He was born in Robinson, IL on September 3, 1953 to Arthur Benjamin and Elizabeth Franklin Benjamin.

Allen retired from Rose Hulman as a millwright and loved to fish and hunt.

Allen is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sharon Leonard Benjamin and their two daughters, Amanda Benjamin Taylor (James), and Laura Benjamin Friess (Jay), as well as four grandchildren; Kate Taylor, Zoe Taylor, Ethan Taylor, and Ruby Friess.  He is also survived by his siblings; Oka Aderman (Lanny), Terry Bullock (Ken), Farris Benjamin (Kate), Donna Benjamin, and Olin Benjamin, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Robert Benjamin.

Funeral services will be held at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, June 21, 2023 at 3:00 PM.  Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM in the funeral home.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow services.
